The rural location of our cottages means that the easiest way to travel in this area is by car. However you may prefer to travel to Scotland by other means and hire a car for your stay.

It is advisable to arrange your hire car before travelling to ensure that it is available when you arrive.

Travel to Scotland by Rail

Our nearest railway station is at Aviemore with a regular service from Edinburgh, London and the south. Travel by day with The Great North Eastern Railway on the route of The Flying Scotsman and enjoy the scenery, or overnight on Scotrail's Caledonian Sleeper and awake refreshed in the Highlands.
