Skiing in Glenlivet and the Cairngorms
Although with global warming winters are not what they were, Glenlivet and the Cairngorms are still one of the snowiest places in Scotland. Both The Lecht and Cairngorm Mountain Ski Centres are easily accessible from Easter Corrie.
There are also
way-marked ski trails in the Glenmulliach Forest near Tomintoul. Alternatively,
for those who wish to venture further, the Ladder Hills offer the possibility
of longer ski tours in snowy conditions, linking the various summits with fine descents into
Glenlivet.
